Leaders across the country have congratulated C.P. Radhakrishnan after his victory in the Vice Presidential election 2025.
President Droupadi Murmu, in a social media post, said that Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan’s decades of rich experience in public life will contribute significantly to the nation’s progress. She wished him a successful and impactful tenure.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also congratulated C.P. Radhakrishnan on being elected as the Vice President of India, highlighting his lifelong dedication to serving society and empowering the poor and marginalised. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that he would be an outstanding Vice President who will uphold constitutional values and strengthen parliamentary discourse.
Home Minister Amit Shah praised the newly elected Vice President, describing him as the custodian of the sanctity of the Upper House. He extended best wishes to NDA’s Vice Presidential candidate C.P. Radhakrishnan for his new journey.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh too extended greetings, noting Radhakrishnan’s humility, integrity, and commitment to service throughout his public life. He said that Radhakrishnan’s vast experience and knowledge of constitutional and legislative affairs would further enrich the Rajya Sabha. Singh also expressed confidence that under his leadership, parliamentary traditions will be further strengthened.
