The first unique and vibrant reunion of Allahabadi Global Connect (Delhi NCR Chapter) was successfully held in Noida, bringing together people originally from Allahabad (Prayagraj) who are now settled in Delhi-NCR.
Allahabadi Global Connect (AGC) is a Facebook community that unites people associated with Allahabad, whether residing in the city or across the globe. The group, launched during the pandemic, now boasts over 20,000 members worldwide.

The Delhi NCR chapter gathering was led by Saurabh Asthana, Amitabh Laloria, and Vineet Khare, with program hosting by AGC admins Saurabh Asthana and Amitabh Laloria. The event received strong support from Nishant Bhargava and Ankit Arora, with Ankit assuring his full cooperation for organizing larger-scale events in the future.

In a press interaction, Vineet Khare shared that the idea behind this initiative was to bring together Allahabadis settled in Delhi NCR who wish to stay connected with their roots. The reunion, held on 24th August in Noida, witnessed enthusiastic participation, featuring a collective introduction session, cultural performances, and engaging activities.

Prominent attendees included S.K. Singh (Retd. IRAS), Renu Singh (IRS), Rakesh Sahni, Stuti Srivastava, Jolly Asthana, Vinay Asthana, Vibhas Awasthi, Vivek Kumar, Anirudh Singh, Dr. Alok Mishra, Pankaj Chaturvedi, Ujjwal Kumar, Ajay Kumar Sharma, Nishant Bhargava, Ankit Arora, and many other well-known personalities.

The Delhi NCR admins, Saurabh Asthana and Amitabh Laloria, emphasized that this series of reunions will continue in the future. Separate AGC chapters have already been established in multiple cities and abroad, including Lucknow, Mumbai, USA, UK, Canada, and Australia, where similar gatherings are being planned to bring together Allahabadis worldwide.

Started in Covid pandemic in year 2000, Founded with the vision of keeping Allahabad’s culture, traditions, and bonds alive, the group connects twenty thousand plus members all over the world, through shared experiences, stories, and celebrations.
